Keep your eyes on the Estes Neon Tiger – you’ve never seen a rocket quite like this! Easy to assemble and simple to launch, this brilliant green and white, Beginner-Level rocket sports a detachable ring glider for spectacular lift-offs and recoveries.

Launch this rocket from a standard Estes launch pad and watch as the scoop-shaped, tiger-striped flyer falls away at apogee and glides smoothly back to Earth for a gentle landing. The host rocket, meanwhile, floats gently home on its own 15 inch parachute to complete the amazing dual recovery. Rocketry newcomers will love this easy to build, quick to launch kit. No painting or sanding required – you’ll be flying in no time!

Experienced rocketeers will appreciate the precision construction and unique flight performance of this one-of-a-kind rocket and ring glider set. The colorful and spectacular 24-inch long Neon Tiger rocket features an extended nose cone, a large and colorful stick-on decal, a quick-build fin can with glider attachment points, and a plastic threaded engine mount for quick flight prep. The detachable glider is constructed from a plastic ring and pre-printed yellow and black, tiger striped card stock. The Neon Tiger can easily reach 500 feet on the recommended Estes C6-3 engine – that’s plenty of altitude before the attached flyer is released at the peak of flight for a long, smooth glider flight and landing. You can even trim the glider’s curved airfoil for longer, more stable flights with slight adjustments to the card stock “scoop.” Best of all, the Neon Tiger rocket and glider can be recovered, reattached to the host rocket, and prepped for a new flight over and over again. There’s no end to the fun and excitement in store with this rocket and glider combo. The Estes Neon Tiger is sure to be a favorite for rocket fans of all ages!

WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD: Scissors, pencil, ruler, yellow glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, and clear tape. (Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)

WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (sold separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller, Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding. Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
